
The Test of Variables of Attention (T.O.V.A) is a tool used for patients who are presenting symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity (ADHD). This is a computerized test that provides objective measurements of attention and inhibitory control. It is a neuropsychological noninvasive form of assessing ADHD symptoms in patients. This type of assessment takes 30 minutes to complete and in return it provides a detailed report of where the patient ranges in their ADHD. The results are created the same day and are discussed with the psychiatrist at your next visit.
For Ages: 6- 80+.
It is preferred to take the exam in the morning
No caffeine or energy drinks should be consumed before the exam or the night before
No medications or supplements aid in focus should be taken that day
